Isle Bay on Mille Lacs
Isle Bay is a tucked away gem on
Mille Lacs' south east corner. Most of Mille Lacs is unprotected from the winds but here, in Isle Bay, we typically enjoy the calmer side of the big lake. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over Father Hennepin State Park while casting a line off our 200' white oak pier. Catch walleye, northern, bass, or pan fish including perch and sunfish.
About Mille Lacs
Mille Lacs is Minnesota's second largest lake best known for walleye, smallmouth bass, and muskie fishing. Mille Lacs is 132,500 acres and stretches 18 miles in one direction and over 20 miles the other direction. Our southern half of the lake is known for it's gravel and rock bars. Even if you aren't here to fish, visitors enjoy casual cruises around the lake where you'll find Hennepin Island and Spirit Island which together make up a national wildlife refuge.
Mille Lacs is home to walleye, northern muskie, jumbo perch, bass (large and small mouth), crappie, eelpout, and tullibee. In the winter, more than 5,000 ice fishing houses decorate the landscape.

log cabins were built in the 1920s using trees from the resort. The log cabins historic charm, coupled with modern upgrades, make them a unique experience in and of themselves. In addition to our historic log cabins, we also feature two new log cabins, Lakeside and Black Bear.

Boat and Pontoon Rentals
If you didn't bring your own boat, you may rent one of ours. Guests will receive a discounted rate of as little as $50 a day for our small Aluminum boat or $100 for our larger fishing or pontoon rentals. Weekly rates are available to guests and non-guests. See our

If you are new to the lake, consider hiring one of our professional walleye fishing guides to show you some of the Mille Lacs' Walleye Fishing techniques. If you stay with us on a mid-week you get a night of lodging free (up to $125).
Mille Lacs Launch Fishing
Walleye fishing can also be experienced on a Mille Lacs Launch. Mille Lacs Launches are a great way to fish. For just $35 a person or $600 to charter a boat that holds up to 30, enjoy a 4 hour fishing trip. Trips include your rod, tackle & bait.
