Mike Christensen, owner of Hunter Winfield's Resort, grew up on Mille Lacs and has been guiding for walleye and smallmouth on Mille Lacs since 1994.

Mike took 3rd place in 2009's MTT Championship on Lake of the Woods. Most recently, he had 2 top 10 finishes in the June 4-5, 2011 MTT.

Mike works hard on the water and anyone fishing with him will see that. His goal is to ensure you don't go home empty handed!

His primary method is slip-bobber fishing for walleye, but will fish any pattern that put fish in the boat. He runs a 2007 Triton 215 and provides his clients the best equipment available.

Mike is typically on the water 10-14 hours a day in the summer and boats an average of 1500-2000 fish a year.
