Fishing Report – Sunday, June 19th

The Walleye Bite has been fantastic! Guide boats are averaging 35-40 fish in an 8 hour trip. 4 hour trips are averaging 25-30 fish. During the evening the boats are fishing shallow. During the day, the depths vary but anglers should concentrate more on the mid-range rocks in 22’-24’. There have been a lot of crayfish in the bellies of those fish so use jig colors with oranges, pink and greens or combinations of those colors. We use a the 1/32 oz Lindy Jigs.

The Spinner bite in the deeper transitions on the mud at 28′ – 32’ has been good as well as the small mouth bite. Overall, it’s been a “darn good bite.”
